Who we are
This website is operated by the London-based ATOG Group companies (ATOG Consultancy and ATOG Development). In this policy “we” means ATOG Group. For anything about your personal data, contact us at hello@atog.uk.
What data we collect
You do not need to give us any personal information to visit our website. We only receive the following when you contact us yourself:
- Contact form: your name, email address and, optionally, your phone number, company, subject and message.
- WhatsApp: when you use the WhatsApp button, your phone number and messages reach us through WhatsApp (Meta); these conversations are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
- Email and phone: the information you share when you write to or call us directly.
- Checklist downloads: your name, email address and, optionally, your permission for us to contact you.
- Visit statistics: only if you accept cookies, information about how you use our website collected through Google Analytics (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location).
Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry or question,
- To send you information and proposals about the service you asked for,
- To manage our working relationship if we decide to work together,
- With your consent, to review visit statistics and improve our website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For analytics cookies and the optional contact permission on the checklist, the legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your details or share them with third parties for advertising.
Who we share your data with
Only the following service providers, which run our website and form on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Vercel: website hosting,
- Turso: the database where form messages are stored,
- Brevo: delivery of form notifications and the emails sent to you and, if you allowed us to contact you, our mailing list,
- Google: only with your consent, visit statistics through Google Analytics.
These providers may process data outside the United Kingdom (for example in the USA). Such transfers are made with the safeguards required by UK law (for example standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep your data
We keep form messages for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and continue any business discussion, for a maximum of 24 months. Checklist requests are also kept for a maximum of 24 months, and Google Analytics data for a maximum of 14 months. If you allowed us to contact you, your email address stays on our mailing list until you withdraw permission, which you can do at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. If we start working together, records of our relationship are kept in line with statutory retention periods.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising cookies. The cookies we use are:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics: _ga, _ga_…): only set if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner; used for visit statistics and kept for up to 2 years. If you click “Reject”, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
- Strictly necessary cookie: a session cookie used only when site administrators sign in to the admin panel; it is not created for visitors.
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you and receive a copy,
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected,
- Have your data erased,
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data,
- Have your data transferred to you or another organisation.
To use any of these rights, simply email hello@atog.uk; we will respond within one month. If you have a complaint about how your data is handled, you can contact the UK’s data protection authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
